Primary 5

Primary 5 have been practising relaxation in class, using breathing techniques. No-one fell asleep but we were very chilled!! We also discovered that school is maybe not so bad after all when we looked at what school was like for Victoria children!

Great Green – ‘What went well’

– We enjoyed a hard-working morning completing tasks around the classroom in a carousel. When we finished one task we moved quickly!! onto the next task. What a lot of learning took place. ‘This was a lot of fun, we worked really hard and sat beside different people in the class.’ William.
– Using alliteration and including adjectives and action verbs, we wrote poems about British birds. We turned our think pink into great green!!
Neve wrote ‘Three confident, croaking crows.’
Finlay wrote ‘Five dangerous, defying doves.’
Aarjav wrote ‘One ominous, observing owl.’

Think Pink – ‘Even better if’

– Reading each day in class and at home.
– We used our ‘rules for speech marks’ to uplevel our writing.

Lead Learners.
Our lead learners last week did a great job. Thank you – Finlay and Aarjav
