Primary 1 - 30th January

This week has been another busy week in Primary 1. We have continued our learning about Scotland and enjoyed more Scottish songs, dances and poems.

We also went outside for outdoor learning and made an obstacle course. It was very cold but fun!

Great Green: “What went well…”

-In Jolly Phonics, we have been working on the sound ‘sh’. We have been reading new words like shop, ship, brush and wash.

-In Maths, we are continuing to learn how to tell the time and this week we were even looking at digital clocks. We recognise these from alarm clocks.

Think Pink: “Even better if…”

-In Maths, we want to learn new skills in measurement.

-In topic, we would like to learn about Scottish foods and famous Scottish people.

Lead Learners:

This weeks lead learners did a great job, well done Thomas and Alice!

Our lead learners next week are Theo and Amelie for showing responsibility in and around the classroom. Myself and other members of staff have noticed the effort and dedication these children have had to ensuring the classroom and area are tidy at the end of different activities. Well done!
