P7 Friday 20th February

Primary 7 have settled back after our February holiday. We had our first Numeracy transition session with Mr McConville from DCHS over Teams. We were learning how to find the mean value when given a set of digits. Working in groups of 3, we soon got the hang of it and were able to demonstrate our individual understanding yesterday in Numeracy.

In P.E. we had an opportunity to practise netball as some of the class are competing in a tournament next week. During our session we demonstrated good sportsmanship, teamwork and respect for the rules.

Great Green (Things that went well)

• Numeracy Transition
• Working in groups in Drama by taking on a role to read, then creating a “Freeze Frame” to show a scene from the script.

Think Pink (Things we want to get better at)

• Learning our tables to help with division when finding the mean value.
• Using Adobe Express to create our project presentations.

Next week our Lead Learners will be Lola and Alfie as they have demonstrated respect when listening this week … Well done!

They have decided that the value they will be looking for next week is kindness. They will be ensuring everyone is included.
