Primary 1 - Friday 26th February

We have had a fantastic week in Primary 1!

We have been learning about weight and using scales to weigh different items.

We also used our new Mighty Writer board to say verbal stories.

We used scales to measure Rice Krispies for our cupcakes!

We were practising finding the beginning sound and using letters to make CVC words.

Great Green: “What went well…”

-In Maths, we know that you use kilograms and grams to weigh things.

-In Literacy, our sound this week was ‘th’ and we have been reading words like three, moth, teeth and tooth.

 

Think Pink: “Even better if…”

-In Numeracy, we want to practise our adding and subtracting.

-In Literacy, we are excited to use our Mighty Writer board to write our own story.

 

Lead Learners:

This weeks lead learners did a great job, well done Azaleea and Imogen.
