P7 Friday 6th March

It has been an interesting week for P7 with lots of in put from different adults. We had a Masterclass on Monday to develop our skills using Adobe Express. We made two posters one for World Book Day using our artistic drawing skills and one to persuade pupils not to walk on the grass using Adobe Express.

In P.E. we were learning and practising the skills to play badminton.

Our DCHS Numeracy Transition this week was on how to find a percentage of a value. It was tricky at first, but Mr McConville showed us an easier way to work it out.

In Art we were expressing ‘Anxious’ and ‘Worried’ using a variety of media.

We have now started our new topic: Democracy.

This morning, we had a good time with our House Groups doing activities for World Book Day.

Great Green (Things that went well)

  • We have been working independently, problem solving on our own, to complete tasks.

Think Pink (Things we want to get better at)

  • Using persuasive language in our writing.

This week our Lead Learners are Aliza and Ameera for always demonstrating honesty… Well done!

They have decided that next week we will be looking for Respect during group work.
