Primary 1 - Friday 13th March
We have had a very secretive week in Primary 1 rehearsing our assembly. We don’t want anyone to know what it is about and we are very excited to perform it next week.
You will be surprised to see how big we are getting …
Also, we changed our classroom and added in a new Library with a seating area. We have special tags and there are 3 children allowed in the new library at a time. We love spending time in there with our friends.
Primary 1 important days
Monday – Outdoor Learning
Wednesday – PE
Thursday – PE
Great Green: “What went well…”
-In Writing, we used our Mighty Writer board to write a story about a Mermaid. We know that a story has a beginning, a middle and an ending. Our middle had a problem. Why not ask us what happened to the Mermaid? You could also ask us how the problem was resolved.
-In circle time, we have been doing good listening so thanks to our Lead Learners for showing us what to do!
Think Pink: “Even better if…”
-In Assembly, we need to look at the audience and speak louder.
Lead Learners:
This weeks lead learners did a great job helping us to learn listening skills, well done Harris and Alice.
Next weeks lead learners are Thomas and Amelie for showing responsibility in Assembly practice. They have shown confidence in their performance and are speaking loudly and clearly.
