P7 Friday 13th March
This week we have been learning more about Democracy in the UK and Scotland. Using our IT skills, we created posters on the main political parties. We have also been researching information about The Scottish Parliament to create a fact file.
For Outdoor Learning this week we used chalk to create 2D obstacle courses for our P1 buddies. They had great fun following the circuits.
Great Green (Things that went well)
- Using persuasive vocabulary when creating a written argument.
- Numeracy Transition – integers (negative and positive numbers).
- Using Drama to recreate a scene from ‘The Evacuees’ by Carolyn Sloan
Think Pink (Things we want to get better at)
- We still need to practise recall of our timetables to support division, fractions, measure conversions and algebra.
This week our Lead Learners are Connor and Amelia-Leigh for showing respect during team/group work. Well done!
They have decided that next week we will be looking for Perseverance across learning.
