Primary 2 - Friday 13th March 2026
Another fun and fabulous week in Primary 2!
Great Green: “What went well…”
-The class have enjoyed French a lot this week, we have been counting to 20 and practising the days of the week! We also learned how to say “Good Morning!” in Vietnamese from Lam in our class.
-We have been learning short vowels with “ck” this week. Some of the words we could write were black, neck, stick, socks, duck and rocket!
Think Pink: “Even better if…”
-Listen and do activities with 3, 4 and 5 rules to follow. This helps us zone in and focus on our listening skills and being able complete specific instructions. We have been doing some dictation to help with this too, we have to listen and hold information before writing it down.
-We have been learning to measure volume this week. We also spent some time with Mrs Orpin and we looked at the different scales and equipment we might use when measuring volume. We also discussed many jobs which use measuring. We are going to continue working on this using the correct mathematical language (millilitres and litres).
Lead Learners:
Our lead learners are Rosie and Alaya. They are consistently hard working and persevere with any task they find tricky. They will be fantastic helpers next week!
