Primary 1 - Friday 24th April

This week in Primary 1 we have been very busy using our new subtraction skills and completing lots of Literacy tasks. Our Mighty Writer this week was a recount about our farm trip.

In topic, we were learning how to look after different pets at home.

Great Green: “What went well…”

-We learned a new skill and have been using numicon to complete subtraction sums.

-We have been working on the Jolly Phonics sound ie.

-We planted sunflowers with Mrs Stewart.

Think Pink: “Even better if…”

-Next week, we will be learning how to subtract using a number line.

Lead Learners:

Well done to Cody and Tanishq for being our lead learners this week. Next weeks lead learners are Nia and Irha for taking responsibility in their own learning. Irha took responsibility in her Numeracy tasks this week and Nia was working hard to ensure her letters were on the line in writing.
