Primary 5 - Friday 1st May

We have moved our plants out of the classroom ‘Nursery’ and they are now on their own in the Greenhouse in the playground. We are still checking on them several times a day!!

Great Green – ‘What went well’

 We have been using our skills in explanation and procedural writing to write explanations for ‘How plants grow’ and ‘How to plant a seed’.
 Using our fantastic knowledge of food groups, we completed a menu by filling in the missing food item in order to make it a balanced meal.
Again, the class were brilliant at this.

Think Pink – ‘Even better if’

 We use our knowledge of fractions when working with percentages %
 We apply our writing skills to create a set of rules for a game or a recipe for our fruit kebabs.

Lead Learners.

Their tasks will be to
• look after class equipment e.g. the shoe trolley and the laptop recharging station
