Meldrum Messages- Friday 1st May
An amazing week here at Meldrum PS this week. P7 had a fabulous time at PGL Dalguise and came back full of enthusiasm and chat about their time away! Instructors at the camp were impressed with the attitude and determination of our young people who rose to the challenges of the activities. Well done P7!
This morning, we had our P2 assembly for parents and carers. The children showcased some of their learning about nocturnal animals and loved taking part in some singing and dancing for the audience. Great job P2!
Over the coming weeks, your child will be learning about Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (RSHP) as part of the Curriculum for Excellence Health and Wellbeing experiences and outcomes. This learning is age‑appropriate and focuses on developing positive relationships, understanding emotions, respecting themselves and others, and keeping safe. Teaching is delivered sensitively and builds gradually over time, in line with national guidance and our school values. We encourage open communication between home and school and are happy to share more information about the learning or answer any questions you may have. Please speak with your child’s teacher if you wish to discuss this further.
A reminder that the school is closed to pupils on Monday and Thursday. Monday is the May Bank Holiday and Thursday is a staff training day.
