Primary 5 - 8th May

Plant update – Our garden peas are thriving, our sunflowers are popping their heads through the soil, and our nasturtiums are getting very tall. This week we thinned out some Livingston Daisies so hopefully they will be more comfortable with more space to grow. Our beans are a bit slow to germinate but fingers crossed this week we will see them popping up.

Great Green – ‘What went well’

• We have been revising our skills, knowledge and understanding of fractions this week, with lots of success. Fractions are fabulous in Primary 5.
• The class were very committed to writing the recipe for ‘How to make an ice-cream sundae’ I wonder why!!

Think Pink – ‘Even better if’

 We are going to try to stay hydrated throughout the day by regularly drinking water in the class.
 We apply our knowledge of food hygiene when making our fruit kebabs next week. (we wash our hands throughout the day!!)

Lead Learners.

Our lead learners last week did a great job. Thank you – Joe and Adam
This week our Lead Learners are Lily and Aarjav
