P6 - Friday 5th June 2026

This week we have been creative, designing and making a t-shirt for the world cup competition. Creativity was also demonstrated when making and designing our sports biscuits which we completed in a mature way .

Great Green

• On Thursday, we had a session with the new P1’s and all demonstrated great responsibility and kindness to our new buddies.

• This week we made sport biscuits in theme with sports day (that was cancelled ), world cup and Commonwealth Games. Next week we will write a recount piece on the process we went through to make them.
• In outdoor learning with Mrs Brown on Tuesday, we had to use teamwork and critical thinking to design and problem solve. We were to make bridges using natural materials from the playground and most people achieved this!
• In P.E with Mrs Harris, she extended our knowledge of the sport Basketball.

Think Pink

• To monitor the weather more closely before going outside for the daily mile – we got drenched!

• Reflect on our work to continue to apply skills and targets more independently.
• Getting changed for P.E sensibly in the changing rooms.

 

Lead Learner Update

Our Lead Learners next week will be Charleigh and Elle. They both worked so hard this week and consistently show kindness and perseverance – well done ladies!
