P1/2 Friday 14th August

P1/2 have had a great few days in school getting used to the new routines, making friends and getting to know Mrs Lang.

We have enjoyed all the activities especially:

• Building cars with Mobilo
• Dot painting ‘s’
• Reading and watching the Elmer story and colouring a patchwork Elmer
• Exploring the water tray
• Playing with friends in the home corner.

We have been learning about Elmer the Elephant and how it is okay to be different.

P1 have been learning the ‘s’ sound, zero and one.

P2 have been ordering numbers to 10 and 20 and have been practising reading and writing 3 lettered words.
