Friday 4th September

We are this weeks lead learners, Bryan and Harry.

In Primary this week we have been marking Miss Jones writing work using highlighters and checking for adjectives, nouns, similes and metaphors. We read about her living room and then we wrote about our own houses.

We started our reading groups and we are reading The case of the Drowned Pearl.

What went well:

-We did our first assignment on teams in reading.

-We are getting faster at daily mental maths.

What could be better:

-We want to get better at questioning in reading.

-Telling the time on an analogue clock and converting time to 24 hour.

Lead Learners

The lead learners are Alfie and Andrew because they have shown great teamwork in PE.

A wee note from Miss Jones:

Primary 7 have had a fantastic week this week practising and presenting their house captain speeches. I was a very proud teacher as they demonstrated their confidence and perseverance. We took part in a short Judo session with a visitor in the school. We also used our digital learning skills to complete school values posters linked to famous brands. For example, “I’m lovin’ responsibility in P7.” I am looking forward to next week as some of our P7 children are competing in the Cross Country competition.
