Primary 5 - Friday 18th September
We have had lots of fun in our learning this week; writing and reading about Ziggy’s adventure in his diary, following the weather forecast, identifying triangles. We even had time to go cloud gazing!
Great Green – ‘What went well’
• Ziggy has had many sleep overs this week and many adventures. His diary is filling up with great stories of what he has been doing. He has been to a birthday party, at the gym, at KFC, on swings, at the football, eating hotdogs and watching TV. What will he get up to this week!!! He is definitely ready for more fun. The pupils who have had a sleep over with Ziggy wrote excellent accounts of his adventures.
• We have been looking at BBC weather – Livingston and interpretating the information. We explored patterns in temperature, wind direction and the chances of rain by checking the % of expected precipitation.
WE have had another busy, achieving week!!
Think Pink – ‘Even better if’
• Recording temperatures and rainfall in different ways (using IT to create graphs.)
Lead Learners.
This week our Lead Learners are Jay and Jackson.
They show a consistently high level of responsibility – in their learning, when lining up and moving around the school and when supporting other learners in class. Well Done Jay and Jackson.
