P1/2 Friday 25th September

P1/2 have started to learn about Harvest and are enjoying learning about scarecrows through stories and songs.

In P.E. this week we were practising ball skills with different sized balls and bats.

We are continuing to learn new sounds and then blend them to make words. We have also started to read some Tricky Words.

In numeracy we have been using the counting stick to work out missing numbers and to order numbers 0-10 (P1) and jumps of 5 to 100(P2).

With Mrs Stewart we created our own shape robots and then neatly coloured them.

From next Wednesday P1/2 will have activities on SeeSaw and will begin to upload pieces of work of which they are proud.

Great Green – (things that went well) … P1/2 have been showing lots of kindness this week.

Think Pink – (we need to practise) … better listening when we are getting to and sitting on the carpet.
