‘Great Green’ in P6/5:

We have had a short yet busy week enjoying participating in activities based on Maths Week Scotland and Fairtrade Fortnight! We have taken on the role of being events managers and planning a party on a budget, taken our learning outdoors to expand our positional and directional language, and explored the Fairtrade logo and specific foods.

We are continuing to expand our descriptive writing skills and have been focusing on identifying and creating similes this week to describe an Autumn tree and an alien pet. P6/5 have created some very descriptive similes – keep it up everyone!

A small ‘Think Pink’ for next week: Continue to do our classroom jobs without being reminded.

I’m pleased to say that our lead learners for next week are Lucy and Eilish. They were awarded this for showing overall kindness, respect and responsibility in the classroom this week. Well done!
