Primary 5 Friday 2nd October

Primary 5 continue to apply their learning across the curriculum: using joining writing in all of their written work, using knowledge of shapes for work in area, identifying adjectives and nouns in their reading and using these in their writing.
Another great week!!

Great Green – ‘What went well’

• We wrote a diary entry for Willow the kitten. P5 used interesting adjectives and punctuation to describe all her adventures in the day. We will continue to do this as part of our 15-minute writing.
• We have been using 2D shapes to create interesting tessellations to cover an area. We have been calculating areas using cm² as well as drawing a shape with a given area.

Think Pink – ‘Even better if’

• We use the punctuation in our reading books to enhance our understanding of the text.

Lead Learners.
This week our Lead Learners are Dheerav and Charlie
Primary 5 decided to award our lead learner certificates this week to pupils who show good listening skills. Well Done Dheerav and Charlie
