Primary 5 - Friday 30th October

Exciting week back from our October holiday with pupils looking forward to Halloween with lots of discussion on costumes and ‘trick or treating’ plans.
Great Green – ‘What went well’
• We used all the focussed core skills from Term 1 in writing this week and all pupils were very successful in remembering these when writing a spooky story about the Funnybones skeletons on a Ghost Train.
• The class constructed a bar graph showing our results from a Science activity. Some pupils used these results to complete a line graph too.
Think Pink – ‘Even better if’
• Apply our knowledge and understanding of learned spelling patterns in all writing tasks.

This week our Lead Learners are Wyatt and Slater
Primary 5 lead learner certificates this week have been given to a pupil who has shown perseverance and determination to stick to his tasks until it is completed well and for a pupil who showed kindness in the support of others. Well Done Wyatt and Slater.
