Our learning this week has been centred round a Halloween theme and has led us to enjoy many fun and rich activities!

Great Green:

• American football taster session – we were respectful to Tom the instructor and really enjoyed learning a bit about this sport as well as practise on throwing an American football and catching.
• The P5’s practised handball ahead of their tournament at Deans Community High School on Tuesday.
• Halloween themed learning. We enjoyed activities such as I spy counting and identifying, writing to Halloween-style music, descriptive Halloween writing and Halloween code breaking in Numeracy.

Think Pink:

• Decimal point practise with the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). We will work hard at this skill next week and continue practising our layout of these sums.

Lead Learners:

• Thank you to Stirling and Thea for being our Lead Learners. I am proud to announce that our Lead Learners for next week are Max and Amelia. Well done and keep it up!
