P1/2 Friday 30th October
What a busy week P1/2 have had learning in a Halloween context.
We have:
- completed Halloween counting
- Halloween spelling
- writing about what we are going to do for Halloween
- Drama: dressing up and Cosmic Kids
- finding bugs in jelly
- finding letters in a cauldron to make words
- listening and watching Halloween stories
- creating our own pumpkins using chalk or craft materials
P2 have also been learning about doubling numbers and have used different resources to practise this.
In P.E. we played a team game where each team had to clear all the balls from their side of the hall.
Great Green – (things that went well) … Good sportsmanship and team playing at P.E.
Think Pink – (we need to practise) … forming our letters neatly and accurately.
Our lead learners for next week are Jenson and Islay.
