This week, Primary 3/2 have been busy getting creative with autumn crafts and having fun at the Halloween disco.

In Numeracy, we have been learning and practising mental maths strategies to help us solve calculations more easily. These strategies include:

• Counting on and back
• Making ten
• The ‘Cookie Strategy’

P2 remember, when solving addition calculations, we do not always need to start counting from 1. Instead, we can count on from the larger number to make the calculation quicker and easier.
